I need motorcycle insurance?

Does any one know how i can get cheap motorcycle insurance, im only 17 and i have a few tickets, so its not gonna be cheap, does any one know how i can get cheap motorcycle insurance?

here's the problem, and it wont matter if u are in a car or on a bike. from 16 to 25, if u are male and unmarried, u will wind up gettin soaked for the highest rates, and this is without having tickets. havin tickets will tell the insurance guy 'this guy is reckless', and the insurance will go up higher.

now u didnt say what bike u want. as sure as god makes rain, if u say sport bike to an insurance agent and ur not over 25, ur insurance most likely will rival that of a recently convicted drunk driver that just got his license reinstated…especially a race type bike. remember also that if u have to finance a bike, full coverage will most likely be made manditory. u might not like this, but if u want cheaper insurance, leave the sport bikes alone and get a cruiser. personally, i use progressive, but like i said, i dont think u'll have much luck gettin 'fair' rates at ur age.

Dairyland Ins. is a good, inexpensive, nationwide, provider of MC insurance. Avoid Progressive.

Skunk -

I got a motorcycle (2007 Honda 600rr) when i was 24. I had 1 speeding ticket that was 2 months from falling off… YOU are going to pay through the nose.

My only suggestions are as follows. Call as many different insurance companies as you can. Progressive/ state farm/ farmers/ countrywide/ geico/ etc. If you just want cheap, then do liability only. Second, try to get your car on the same plan. Maybe get your parents to let you on their plan.

Believe me, it is hard not to go fast on a bike, so i think you may get more tickets. Just be safe, and remember…

"Keep the rubber side down"

Good luck/ have fun.

Shop around. Auto insurance agencies also usually sell motorcycle insurance. The cost will be affected by your age and driving record, but also by the amount of coverage you need or are required to have. Check with more tha a few angents and insurance companies and you don't have to be secretive about the fact that you are shopping around.

You won't. Simple as that.

You probably won't even be able to GET insurance at any cost, Junior! Even if you do, be sure to budget about $5,000 per year for it.

Don't like that? Don't get tickets! Guess reality is pretty harsh, isn't it? Nothing like your X-Box, eh?

If you only need liability, It's hard to beat progressive.
