Someone stole my car last week, Can Insurance company help me out?

Somebody stole my car last week… and I reported to the cop…
so whatelse can I do?

Will the Insurance company help me, will they punished me or
give me money for me to get an another car or a temporary car, I really need to go to work… and I need a car to go to work, but I can't because my car is stolen.

What can I do?

If I report to car Insurance company, will they say I have to wait 30 days until cops find my car or what?

I need a car now…

It depends on your coverage. Do you have theft coverage on your policy? Usually you do if you have opted for coverage giving you protection against fire, theft collision. Read your policy or ask your agent. If you are covered, you may be able to get a rental car while you are waiting for your claim to be settled. Yes, there will be some wait to see if your car is recovered before insurance would consider it a permanent loss and pay your claim. Why did you wait a week?

If you do have the coverage, you will get fair market value for your vehicle at the time of loss, adjusted for condition, minus any deductible amount you asked for.

You'll need to report it to your insurance company. HOWEVER they will only help you out as long as you paid due care to the security of the vehicle. For example if you left the keys in the ignition, your insurance won't cover you, if you forgot to lock it, gave the keys to someone else etc… As long as you weren't a numpty and someone stole your car AFTER you had taken the necessary precautions then your insurance company will liase with the Police about finding the vehicle and depending on your policy, may provide or reimbusre you for a courtesy car.
You'll need to contact them ASAP - they may have strict timescales for you take reporting things like this to them.

Assuming you are in the U.S. and have comprehensive coverage on your policy your insurance can help you.

Report the theft to your company if you haven't already done so. Make sure to give them the police case #.

If you have comprehensive coverage most policies do require a 30 day period before you will be paid.

Ask your company if you have rental coverage on your policy. (Some companies automatically include a rental car for theft claims) If you have the coverage they will provide with an economy rental car.

Good Luck

The one thing your missing here is what coverages do you have? If you have comp on your policy then yes, there would be coverage for the stolen veh. But it would be subject to your ded. Usally if you have comp, then the insurance company will offer a courtesy theft rental until the veh is recovered, or fixed. But if you also have rental coverage then they would use that. And yes it is 30 days before any type of payment would be made for veh. They would then make you sign the title of your stolen car over to them, because then if it is ever recovered they can get some money back on there pay out. If you dont have comp then no. Dont even bother calling them cause they wont do anything.
